It has been a while since I've picked up the guitar to play. I've been looking into getting Kenzie a guitar for Christmas (from Santa, of course!), so I went downstairs with her to play for a little bit this afternoon. I had her play the other Fender (my first), but it was just too big. She had fun singing into the microphone and strumming the strings though. I think a short scale guitar will be a good size for her, and since she seems interested in it, she will probably like learning. She usually sees daddy play, so I think she liked seeing that mommy plays too.
