This was actually my photo for Monday, but I forgot to upload it. So here it is a few days late. I was trying to get a photo of the new paint color and the art back on the wall.
because I forgot to upload it a few days ago, my posts on my blog are slightly misnumbered. geez...how on earth did I keep track with my 365, when I already lost count 15 days in on this 31 day challenge?

One of our neighbor's gave us a stack of Angelina Ballerina dvd's that were her granddaughters. They don't watch them anymore, but Kenzie really enjoys watching it.

Today I skated in the Forest Park St. Patrick's Day Parade with 46 other women from Derby Lite. It was tons of fun. I brought the girls and pushed them in the stroller. Next time, I won't bring the kids....I think I might have more fun to be able to participate more in the pacelines. Kenzie seemed to have fun, and when we were in the car she told me she had fun at the "roller derby parade". Tonight, we went to see the Windy City Rollers, so it was a derby filled day. I wanted to make sure we were there so we could see the flash mob that was going to happen at half-time. I could have participated if I wanted to, but I didn't really want to dance in front of everyone at the UIC Pavilion. It looked fun though and maybe I'll do it if they do it again.

I know the photo has nothing to do with the lyric, but this was the photo I took for today. I was working on a clothing pattern.
The lyrics, however, are for my new nephew. My youngest brother and his wife welcomed their first baby, Jude Everett. He was born this evening, and I'm looking forward to meeting him this week.

Just doing a little 31 day photo challenge. I don't want to commit to a 365, but I do miss having a reason to take photos every day. Or at least attempting to take better or more interesting photos.

I want to try and keep up with posting photos here on my blog. I'm not doing a 365 this year, but thought I might as well keep up with blogging. This photo is from a few days ago. We started the day with music class (both girls), then off to tumbling for Kenzie. Afterwards, Aubrey had her 15 month check up, which included some shots. She didn't like the shots at all, but once she calmed down, she was a pretty happy camper the rest of the day. It was a busy day with lots of running around, but it's been a quiet evening for the most part, so I'm catching up on photo editing and blogging.

While Kenzie was at school, I had the gate closed so Aubrey could play upstairs while I was assembling the drawer units for our new bed in the hallway. I had gone downstairs for something and came back to find her in the office just sitting in the rocking chair reading a book. It was pretty cute.

Well, I tried to take a couple of photos last night to mark the end of the year. Trying to pose with two squirmy kids wasn't working out. I was hoping using Incredibooth would keep Kenzie looking at the camera on my phone, but she didn't seem to care. Anyway, these were the best couple shots I managed to take.
I think I'm officially ending my 365 a few days early. I wish I didn't miss the few days that I did over the year. I think doing a 365 two years in a row (and with a new baby) was a pretty good challenge. Some days I definitely just called it in, but for the most part I liked what I put up. Even if they were just phone shots or photos of the kids.
Anyway, Happy New Year everybody! I'll still be posting on flickr, but I'm not doing a 365 again. I'll consider a 52 weeks project or maybe I'll just do some other photo projects throughout the year. Maybe I'll even get back into doing Blythe photography again. I do miss it.
